Itay is a Partner in Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice, with approximately 20 years of experience providing audit and accounting services to private and public companies, as well as Israeli and international organizations across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, commerce, banking, and real estate.
Itay has extensive experience in providing professional support to companies throughout the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process in the capital markets, as well as conducting due diligence engagements as part of the firm’s professional practice group.
In addition, Itay has for many years advised a diverse portfolio of public and private companies and banking corporations on taxation, financial advisory, and accounting advisory matters.
Itay has participated in several task forces of the Israeli Accounting Standards Board, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, and the Banking Supervision Department of the Bank of Israel on accounting and financial reporting matters. He is also a member of the liaison committee between the Supervisor of Banks at the Bank of Israel and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel.
Among other clients, Itay advises The Central Bottling Company Group, Bank Leumi, Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, TopGum Industries, and other leading organizations.
Itay has served as a teaching assistant and lecturer in Financial Accounting at Tel Aviv University and Reichman University (formerly the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya).
He holds a B.A. in Accounting, Management, and Economics, as well as an MBA, both from Tel Aviv University.
