Hila is a Partner in the indirect tax team at Deloitte Israel. Since joining the firm in 2016, Hila specializes in indirect tax consultation including VAT, Customs duty, Purchase tax and Excise tax, and is responsible for submitting and negotiating requests for pre-rulings from the Israeli Tax Authority (ITA), tax appeals and representation of various clients vis-à-vis the ITA. Additionally, Hila provides tax consultation to multinational corporations in relation to international transactions which involve Israeli indirect tax aspects.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Hila served as chief coordinator in the Professional Department (VAT and Customs) within the Israeli Tax Authority, where she took lead part in writing professional guidelines, tax rulings, interpretations etc. In addition, Hila served as an instructor in a variety of courses held internally by the ITA (e.g. ITA inspector's course, VAT and Customs auditors course).
Hila is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics, L.L.B in Law and an MBT in Business Taxation.
