John is a partner at Deloitte Ireland LLP and is the Tax & Legal Operate Leader. The Operate offering brings a consultative approach to help clients consider operating model options to execute all their functional responsibilities, leading to a wide range of advisory and outsourcing services. John is also Head of Business Process Solutions (BPS) for Deloitte Ireland and a member of Deloitte's Global BPS executive. The market-leading BPS team comprises over 8,500 professionals in over 125 countries.
With more than 20 years of investment management and aviation experience, John brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing today's global tax and finance leaders. He has participated in the committees of numerous industry bodies, including Irish Funds and the Irish Debt Securities Association, and he is a member of the aviation industry body, ISTAT. John is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, a Chartered Tax Adviser and has been awarded an MSc in Aviation Finance from University College Dublin's Graduate Business School. He has been an Assistant Professor at Dublin City University and a member of the Adjunct Faculty at University College Dublin.
