Donna Hemphill is a Senior Manager in the Irish Indirect Tax practice.
Donna spent eleven years as a Customs Manager in a logistics company and gained a wide knowledge of customs procedures and regimes involving duty suspension and avoidance, customs classification and rules of origin over a wide range of industries.
More recently, she was employed as a Customs & Excise Specialist for a global tobacco manufacturer where she looked after customs and excise authorisations including Customs warehousing, End Use, EMCS and Registered Consignor/Consignee.
She led the AEO accreditation process and developed a robust internal compliance program to include customs declaration analysis and internal controls. She has an excellent working knowledge of import and export entry completion and data analysis.
Donna is a graduate of the University of Ulster with a upper second class honours degree in Business Studies.
Donna recently gained a Distinction in the Diploma in World Customs Compliance and Regulations with the Institute of Export (Joint highest overall score for 2016)
