Athens, 12 September 2019 - Deloitte has been named a leader in Global Cybersecurity Consulting in Forrester’s recent report entitled The Forrester Wave: Global Cybersecurity Consulting Providers, Q2 2019. Deloitte is the leader based on strategy and market presence.
Of note, this recognition comes on the heels of several additional recognitions in the cyber space, including being named as a leader in Gartner Security Consulting and Forrester Cyber Incident Services.
“The positive recognitions in this report are many, but one quote in particular stands out,” says Nick Galletto, Deloitte Global Cyber Risk leader. “According to Forrester, ‘Deloitte continues to come to the table as one of the organizations with the most polished personnel and delivery methodologies in the business.’ To us, this is a powerful testament to Deloitte’s deep tech expertise and broad industry experience that allows us to solve complex problems so clients can build smarter, faster, more connected futures.”
Forrester’s 23-criterion evaluation of global cybersecurity consulting response services providers, “identified the 14 most significant [providers]… and researched, analyzed, and scored them. This report shows how each provider measures up and helps security and risk professionals select the right one for their needs.”
The report also notes, “Despite the emergence of software-as-a-service, cloud, and platforms, consulting firms largely continued with time and materials (T&M) approaches: until 2019, that is. Today, consultancies that can blend consulting services with recurring revenue models that include SaaS, cloud, and platform-based approaches achieve far higher client satisfaction and retention rates.”
“In the age of digital transformation, which presents an inherent catalyst for change, there is a growing understanding that cyber is everywhere – it’s embedded in the business, in the technology, and in the way the people communicate and deliver services. Due to this dynamic, executives will continually reassess and perhaps more importantly prioritize, their organization’s security strategy, capabilities, and talent, while at the same time closely monitoring the changing threat landscape created by new innovation and third party relationships,” says Deborah Golden, Deloitte US Risk & Financial Advisory Cyber Risk leader. “Deloitte’s Cyber practice supports clients in the maturation of their business services by integrating agile cyber approaches to achieve viable business outcomes staying ahead of the ever-changing ecosystem that enables clients’ missions.”
