Chief Executive Officer

Dimitris Koutsopoulos is the CEO and an Equity Partner of Deloitte Greece and Member of the Deloitte Central Mediterranean Executive Committee.

Dimitris joined Deloitte in 1998 and as the CEO, since 2015, he has contributed significantly to the development of new services, both in terms of scope and number, in the expansion of the company throughout Greece, and in its technological transformation. Under his leadership, Deloitte Greece has reached a headcount of more than 2,900 people, having quadrupled its workforce in just 6 years.

He is a Chartered Accountant ICAEW, a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant (FCCA) and holds a BSc in Economics and two post graduate degrees in International Finance and Business & Management. Dimitris is a member of the Supervisory Committee of the Greek Registered Auditors and a Founding Member of the Council of Competitiveness of Greece.

Equity Partner, Technology & Transformation Leader

Nikos is an Equity Partner and the Technology & Transformation Leader. He
joined Deloitte in 2018 and has contributed fundamentally to scaling the Consulting Department.

He has significant experience in designing and delivering large transformational projects, managing business cases in new and emerging technologies, designing new organizational models and
post-merger integration. From 2011 to 2018 he worked as Group COO and CIO in
one of the biggest banking institutions in Greece, responsible for managing
the Group’s Operations and IT, including digitization, IT, back-office and treasury operations, real estate and technical services. From 1997 to 2011,
he worked as Strategy Partner, Head of Management Consulting for another
international consulting company.

Nikos holds a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, an MBA
from Warwick Business School and a PhD in Decision Management Systems from
National Technical University of Greece. He has also worked as a research fellow at INSEAD, France.

Alexis is the Strategy, Risk & Transactions Leader and an Equity Partner specializing in Valuation, M&A Advisory, Dispute Consulting and
Reorganization.

With over twenty five years professional experience, Alexis
has excellent understanding of major sectors of the economy, including banking, telecommunications, health, tourism & leisure sectors, amongst others, both in local and international level and he has carried out projects
on behalf of banks, investing institutions and boards of directors. He has acquired a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus and an MBA - SDA from Bocconi University in Italy.

Dimitris is the Audit & Assurance Leader, an Equity Partner, and a member of the Executive Committee. With over 24 years of experience, he has served large Greek and multinational clients across various industries, acting as the statutory auditor and Lead Client Service Partner. He possesses extensive expertise in executing audit-related projects and has worked closely with executive management and audit committees. Additionally, Dimitris has led the delivery of assurance services, including accounting advisory, controls assurance, and sustainability reporting. 

He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant (FCCA) and holds an MSc in Finance and a BA in Business Economics.

Maria is an Equity Partner, the Tax & Legal Leader and a member of the Executive
Committee. With more than 25 years of experience, she has been providing tax advisory services to Greek and multinational clients across all industries.

Maria is a member of the tax committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, the tax committee of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises and member of the Association of SA & Limited Liability Companies for accounting and tax issues.

Vassilis Kafatos (Equity Partner & member of the Executive Committee) is Deloitte
Greece Growth Leader and President of the Deloitte Competence Center. He
specializes in corporate & digital strategy, innovation, business model transformation, financial management and mergers & acquisitions.

Vassilis has over 25 years of advisory experience in various sectors including travel,
hospitality, shipping, ports, investment management, consumer business and
manufacturing.  He serves as Trustee of the Board of Anatolia College, as Vice President of the American - Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, as Vice President of the Federation of Industries of Greece, as President of the Advisory Board of the Council on Competitiveness
of Greece, and as member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the
Museum of Macedonian Struggle.

He holds a degree in Economic Science from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MBA in Corporate Strategy from the University of Texas at Austin and postgraduate diplomas in Business

Panayiotis is an Equity Partner, Chief Operating Officer and the Strategy & Transactions Leader. With almost 20 years of experience, Panayiotis specializes in the M&A Transaction Advisory (Corporate & Banking), Loan Portfolio Advisory and M&A Value Creation Services, having worked for a wide range of sectors both for local and cross-border transactions.

He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and holds a BSc in Economics and a post graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA).

Charilaosis an Engineering Equity Partner with over 20 years of experience in Digital BankingSolutions and Software Application Systems Architecture. He possessess ignificant skills in IT systems and has a successful track record in leadingcomplex transformation projects resulting in fundamental changes andimprovements in the Technology Strategy and Digital Transformation of leadingbank organizations both in Greece and worldwide. Charilaos has worked asTechnical Director and Software Engineer for over 13 years, during which hedesigned and developed complex web applications. Efstathios has extensive experience in advising Greek and multinational clients (bothindividuals and legal entities) across a variety of industry sectors, including real estate, banking, insurance, e-commerce, hotels and leisure, retail, pharma, telecoms, gaming, shipping, energy, technology and education,on all stages of tax controversy.
Efstathios is a highly esteemed and well-experienced tax litigator, having successfully handled numerous complex cases before the tax authorities, the Dispute Resolution Directorate and the competent Administrative Courts and especially the Council of State.
Efstathios has considerably influenced the Greek tax jurisprudence, as he has been involved in a series of landmark cases before the Council of State, including the groundbreaking plenary decision for the statute of limitations for the Greek State’s right to impose taxes.
In addition, Efstathios has successfully represented clients in criminaltax cases. Efstathios is the Tax Counsel of the Athens Bar Association, aswell as of the Plenary of Greek Bar Associations. He has actively participated in several preparatory committees on new tax legislation and has authored several books and publications on tax law issues.

Spyridon is the Partner responsible for the development and delivery of Financial Risk Management (FRM) propositions. He has extensive professional experience ofover 14 years in the Financial Services sector which includes a significant number of consulting and advisory projects across all three lines of defenseplus statutory audit. George began his career in our audit department in 2004, before moving to Financial Advisory Services until 2017, where he was involved in and led significant financial due diligence processes. He then joined the large corporate restructuring unit of a major bank. After 1.5 years with the bank, George returned to our firm as a Director in Restructuring and Value Creation Services. He focuses on corporate turnarounds, operational assessment & performance improvement, and cash & working capital management. George has worked with corporate clients and private equites to identify sustainable improvements, enhancing both operational and financial performance. His contributions have been pivotal in the development and success of this department. George has a strong interest in the agricultural ecosystem in Greece. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds a BSc in Mathematics and a postgraduate degree in Financial Management and Control.

Vassilis is a Partner with more than 18 years of experience in the audit & assurance profession. He leads audits in large listed companies, local subsidiaries of multinationals groups and also private equity businesses. 
He also performs other assurance and non assurance projects, such as capital market transactions both in Greek and foreign stock exchange, compliance, mergers and demergers. Prior to that, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at a digital banking firm and one of the largest Financial Services group in Greece, where he contributed to numerous projects, including core banking and insurance applications. Nikolaos is a Partner in Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory. Nikolaos joined Deloitte in 2018. He has over 17 years of experience in Business Valuations, M&A Projects, Financial Modelling and Corporate Restructuring Projects. He has led complex projects across a range of sectors, including ICT, energy, gaming, telecommunications, banking, tourism, and food & beverage. Nikolaos has played a pivotal role in high-impact transactions involving family businesses, listed/private companies, private equity, and venture capital firms. Yannis is a Partner specializing in forensic, financial crime, and disputes, with over 22 years of experience in investigations, compliance, anti-corruption services and litigation support. He has led more than 500 forensic engagements across Greece and other Balkan countries, covering diverse industries such as Life Sciences, Financial Services, Construction, Retail, Media and Entertainment and Tourism. Iraklis Kanavaris is a Partner in the Cyber team, specializing in Cybersecurity. With over fifteen years of professional experience, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role, leveraging his extensive background to help numerous multinational and Greek organizations across various industry sectors manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks. Myrtois Partner of the Tax & Statutory Compliance, Business Process Solutions. She joined Deloitte in 2011 and has since then played a crucial role invarious tax audit projects for both international and domestic companies. Sheis specialized in tax audits of companies within the Financial Services Industry. Prior to her tenure at Deloitte, Myrto gained valuable experience in the finance department of a Greek systemic Bank and served as a tax advisor at another Big4 firm. Myrto holds an ACCA Dip. IFR, an ALBA/EYDiploma in Taxation, a Master in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), and a Degree in Accounting & Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). Nikos is an Audit Partner who has been working as a Certified Public Accountant forover 17 years. He possesses extensive experience and expertise in the shipping industry, in audits of companies listed on the US capital markets ensuring compliance with the PCAOB auditing standards and accounting standards such as IFRS/U.S. GAAP and in projects related to capital raising through initial public offerings (IPOs) or secondary offerings. Nikos also specializes in working with large groups of non-listed shipping companies (private shipping companies). Nikos holds a degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus and he is a Certified Public Accountant in Greece.

Manos is a Partner in Strategy & Transactions practice specializing in Turnaround, Restructuring and Performance Improvement, with a focus on ValueCreation, Cost Transformation and Working Capital optimization. 
He has more than 25 years of financial and operational experience and has carried outlarge projects involving corporate restructuring, operational due diligence, business reviews and post-merger integration. He has also served as Chief Monitoring Officer in several cases involving both public and private companies, attending Board of Directors meetings, participating in other relevant Management Committee meetings and overseeing the implementation of complex restructuring plans. 
Before joining Deloitte, Manos worked as a Managing Director at the Restructuring practice of another international consulting company which he joined in 2014. From 2003-2014, he was a Partnerand has served as Chief Operating Officer of a Greek private equity firm holding both operational and portfolio monitoring responsibilities. 
From 1993-2003, he held several senior finance positions in a multinational alcoholic beverages company, based in Athens, London and Hong Kong. Manosholds a BSc in Business Science from Athens School of Economics, an MSc incomputer applications from Cranfield Institute of Technology and an MBA from London Business School.

Eleftheria, Partner in the Strategy and Transactions team has over 15 years of professional experience. For the last 10 years, she has been working at Deloitte, providing services in the financial sector both in Greece andabroad. She has led special audit projects of financial statements of banking institutions, overseeing of acquisition and sales of non-performing loans, performing strategic analysis and management of portfolios, leading buy-sideand sell-side processes for banking and financial institutions. She has also participated in projects to convert financial statements from GAAP to IFRS,carve out projects during the reorganization and deleveraging of the Hellenic banking system, asset quality control (AQR) projects both in Greece andabroad as well as internal process control projects. She holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Thomas is an Equity Partner, the Tax Leader and the Consumer Industry Leader.

Headvises international clients about the domestic tax system and the routing of their investment into Greece and domestic enterprises planning to investabroad with the most tax-beneficial way to expand their businesses. Sophie Manolis is a Partner of Audit. She has worked in public practice since 2002 and has served a wide range of clients in the real estate, retail, health, insurance, and non-for-profit industries. Since joining Deloitte Athensin 2007, she has served clients exclusively in the shipping industry. Hervast audit experience in the shipping industry includes audits of entities listed on the US markets, compliance with applicable IFRS/U.S. GAAP, PCAOB standards and SEC rules and regulations, IPO and secondary offerings experience. She is also involved in the audits of private shipping companies reporting under IFRS and U.S. GAAP. Sophie holds a degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Canada. She is a Canadian Certified Public Accountant and US Certified Public Accountant(Illinois). Sophie is also a member of the Greek Institute of Chartered Accountants.

George Morfoulis joined Deloitte in 2021 and currently serves as a Partner in Engineering, AI & Data, Government , where he leads the Government and Public Services Sector. With 26 years of consulting experience, George has spearheaded a wide range of complex projects in both the public and private sectors in Greece, as well as for international institutional clients and financial institutions such as the European Commission, World Bank, and European Investment Bank. He brings over 15 years of managerial experience, having held leadership roles as the head of departments or business units. most part of her career has been a tax professional with focus on business tax and transfer pricing, including tax and transfer pricing controversy. She has served as Transfer Pricing Leader for Deloitte Greece for 7 years and hasbeen acknowledged as leading Transfer Pricing and Tax Controversy Advisor by International Tax Guides for a series of years. 
In November 2017, she took the role of Director of Independence for Deloitte Greece being responsible for all quality controls and procedures in relation to independence. In September 2022, she was appointed as President for Deloitte Greece Foundation, a non for profit voluntary organization which supports initiatives under the pillars of education, environment, culture and national emergencies. She is a lawyer, member of the Athens Bar Association and very active supporter of initiatives relating to women’s empowerment (Lean inGreece / The Boardroom).

Konstantinos is a Partner and the Business Tax Advisory & International Tax Leader.
