The third edition of Deloitte’s CxO Sustainability report surveyed global CxOs on their sustainability and climate change efforts.

Of the 2,100 CxOs surveyed globally, this snapshot report dives into the insights from the 582 executives surveyed from across Asia Pacific. It explores how companies are starting to see the tangible benefits of taking climate action, with almost all executives stating they believe their company can and will continue to grow while reducing emissions.  

The report highlights that climate change remains a top priority for Asia Pacific Executives, alongside innovation and economic uncertainty, with over 83% stating that they have increased sustainability investments in the past year and over two thirds are expecting climate change to impact their strategy and operations over the next three years. 

Additionally, stakeholder pressures along with revenue positive outcomes are driving strategic intent, with varying approaches across industries. 

  • 83% have increased sustainability investments
  • 75% express concern about climate change all or most of the time
  • 93% believe their companies can continue to grow while reducing emissions
  • 38% rank revenue from new businesses as the top business benefit
  • 69% expect climate change to significantly impact strategy and operations over the next 3 years.
