GRA appoints VAT Withholding Agents

Highlights of Bank of Ghana Risk Management DirectiveThe Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has appointed entities and institutions to act as VAT Withholding Agents to implement the recently introduced VAT withholding regime in Ghana. Under the regime, designated entities are required to deduct part of VAT charge on payments to suppliers for taxable supplies.

The appointment of VAT Withholding Agents takes effect from Tuesday, 1 May, 2018.
