We are pleased to announce that Joe Eshun has returned home to join Deloitte Ghana after 33 years of making an impact across Europe, East Africa and Southern Africa.
Joe joined Deloitte in 2001, after 8 years of working with two other top tier organisations. In the last 25 years he has played a pivotal leadership role in Deloitte Africa’sintegration journey, serving as CEO of our East Africa business (based in Nairobi)and more recently, as the Africa Managing Partner responsible for our three Businesses (Audit, Tax and Consulting). In this role (based in Johannesburg), he also led the development and execution of the Africa firm’s strategy. Before these roles, Joe served as the Consulting Strategy & Operations Leader for East Africa serving various clients in the financial services, telecommunications and public sectors in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, and Ethiopia. He was also the Global Public Sector Leader for priority markets. His move to Ghana as a Senior Partner of the African firm reflects our continued commitment to investing in key growth markets and strengthening our presence in West Africa.
Joe’s unique cross-market experience, spanning East, Southern, and now West Africa as well as his passion for serving clients with distinction positions him to support our Africa and West Africa clients in navigating complex transformation agenda.
