Abena Biney is the Chief Sustainability Officer of Deloitte West Africa. She leads Deloitte’s WorldClass Project in West Africa. She is also the Industry Leader for the Consumer Sector in Ghana. She is an Audit Partner in Deloitte Ghana with more than 23 years’ working experience in auditing, accounting and finance.
Abena is a Chartered Accountant with a strong academic and professional background. She is a graduate of the University of Botswana, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) U.K. and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) Ghana.
Abena has a strong audit background and a wealth of experience with consumer businesses and non-governmental organisations. Additionally, Abena has managed a number of engagements in the financial services sector, serving clients in the banking and insurance sectors.
