Deloitte team advised Cargotec in the IT separation of MacGregor from Cargotec Group (now Hiab). The separation supported Cargotec's strategic objective to establish MacGregor as an independent standalone company with dedicated IT landscape, infrastructure, and organisation. MacGregor was subsequently acquired by Triton in November 2024.

Our team provided Cargotec with IT separation programme management support from ramp-up to close through the establishment of the new MacGregor Information Management organisation, separation of the entire MacGregor IT system environment (approximately 300 applications and global infrastructure) and design of new dedicated IM Service Management. Deloitte also supported the dedicated IT change and communication work during the program.
