Sonja Suosalo, Audit & Assurance
Sonja Suosalo focuses on large listed company audits and Financial Services Industry audits.
My commitment as a partner: I am committed to growing our audit business by deepening strong client relationships and continuously implementing innovative technological tools. My goal is to create meaningful work for our professionals and deliver greater insights for our audit clients. Equally important is my dedication to developing talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence to ensure our teams are equipped to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the market.
My favorite leisure activity: Outside of the office, I spends quality time with family and friends, relaxing and recharging through yoga and ice-swimming hobbies. I love travelling around the world, embracing different cultures and trying diverse culinary experiences along the way. I also enjoy attending football matches, sharing the excitement of the game with friends.
Tanja Tani, Enabling Functions
Tanja Tani leads the transformation of Deloitte Nordic Finance function and serves also as a CFO and COO or Deloitte Finland.
My commitment as a partner: I am fully committed to lead the transformation of our Nordic Finance function. My goal is to convert organizational complexity into a scalable, future-proof operating model that enhances service maturity and drives economic advantage. By leveraging Nordic scale with local relevance, I aim to deliver measurable, firm-wide value.
My favorite leisure activity: Beyond the office, I’m passionate about staying active—whether jogging through Helsinki's nature, skiing, or training at the gym. Family time is central to my life: you'll find me at the playgrounds in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, exploring new destinations together, or unwinding at our summer cottage by the lake. These moments keep me grounded and energized.
Veera herse, Tax & Legal
With over 18 years at Deloitte, Veera Herse advises clients on a broad range of transfer pricing questions with particular strength in designing transfer pricing models, IP transfers, and business restructurings. She has extensive experience in transfer pricing controversy, including tax audits, pre-emptive discussions, MAP, and BAPA processes, as well as transfer pricing documentation projects.
My commitment as a partner: I am deeply committed to taking our transfer pricing practice to the next level — building lasting client relationships and consistently delivering services that are not only of the highest quality, butthat create genuine, tangible value.
My favorite leisure activity: Outside of work, I cherishe time spent with my family and enjoy long morning walks with our dogs through the forest. I have a passion for gardening and to make the most of the summer months at our summer house.
Janne Liukkonen, Technology & Transformation
Janne Liukkonen leads Deloitte Finland’s Human Capital service area.
My Commitment as a Partner: I'm committed to being a trusted architect and enabler of our clients’ transformation initiatives. I promise to help build a better and more efficient working life, accelerate strategic change, and leverage AI and HR technology in organisational renewal. I believe that a successful future is built on a human-centred work environment where organisational culture, functions, and structures support sustainable growth and competitiveness.
My favorite leisure activity: I enjoy spending my free time with the family at our cottage in Saarikylä or in northern Lapland. Important hobbies for me include outdoor activities, skiing, and canoeing.
Katja Tuomi, Technology & Transformation
Katja Tuomi leads Deloitte’s SAP Offering in Finland, and delivers SAP S/4 HANA transformation programs for our clients.
My commitment as a partner: I am committed to combining my leadership style and my experience in delivering global major business transformation programs for our clients, to build a thriving Deloitte SAP offering that hosts skilled, motivated, and energized group of people who can fluently operate in a continuously changingenvironment, as one integrated team across offerings and geos.
My favorite leisure activity: Leisure time I spend taking care of a household with three children, and loads of pets. When time allows, I enjoy dancing, skiing and swimming, walking out in the nature with dogs, trying out new cuisine or wines, and spending time with friends and family in different activities typically involving good food, appropriate drinks, the lake or hiking in the beautiful surroundings of Lohja.
