Biography :
Brian is a partner in the International Tax & Transfer Pricing Services Practice in Deloitte US, where he serves as the global lead tax partner on some of Deloitte’s largest clients. He also serves as the Deloitte Global Tax & Legal Leader for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). He received his MS in Tax and his BBA in Accounting at Texas A&M University.
His passion is client service and to support the success of his partners and his people which has led him to serve in a supporting role in Deloitte’s strategic clients programs. Some of Brian’s most recent roles included Global Business Change Storefront leader covering M&A, Post-Merger Integration and Value Chain Alignment, US Central Region managing partner for International Tax & Transfer Pricing Services and as the US National Operations leader for International Tax & Transfer Pricing. He also has over 23 years of experience advising US multinationals on cross-border financing arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, foreign tax credit utilization, local tax minimization and offshore treasury optimization. Brian has consistently been included as a leading tax professional in the Guide to the World’s Leading Tax Advisers.
In addition to his client service roles, Brian continues to support initiatives around inclusion, where he has increased the focus on the acquisition, development and retention of women and diverse talent. Brian also serves as the Advisory Lead University Partner for Texas A&M University where he is teaming with the administration, faculty and students to support the University’s success and Deloitte’s impact across its campus. He is also a frequent guest lecturer at Texas A&M University and Southern Methodist University and a regular presenter at Deloitte International Tax seminars and client conferences.
