Biography :
As the Asia Pacific Tax and Legal Leader, Alan is responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving operational excellence. By working with the tax leadership of each geography, Alan works to drive growth and build a culture of inclusion.

Alan was previously the Asia Pacific Deputy Regional Managing Director and Global Business Operations Leader across Tax and Legal. He also served as a member of the Deloitte China Governing Board. Alan also has international experience at Deloitte, having previously worked at the Deloitte offices in Detroit, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.

Alan is currently a Board Member of the Sprouts Foundation (providing underprivileged children in Asia with access to better education) and is an Advisory Council Member of the Association of Business Students of Hong Kong University. He has also been recognized several times as a “Top Tax Advisor” in China by the International Tax Review.

Alan speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese, as well as conversational French. He enjoys travelling, especially for skiing holidays, and loves to cook.
