Francisco is a Legal Partner at Deloitte Legal and is part of the Regulatory and Compliance team. He has more than fifteen years of experience advising large companies in the banking and financial sectors at leading law firms before joining ING Direct Spain, where since 2008 he has served as Head of the Legal Department and secretary to its executive bodies. Over the course of his extensive career, he has become one of the lawyers with the greatest knowledge and experience in the legal implications of digital transformation and digital banking.
He holds a Law degree from the University of Zaragoza and a Master’s in Corporate Legal Advice from Instituto de Empresa, graduating Cum Laude.
He has received two “40 under 40” awards, granted to the 40 most promising lawyers in Spain and Portugal in 2011 and 2013, as well as the Gold Award for Best TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications) Lawyer in 2016. In addition, he was recognized in the 2021 FinTech ranking by Chambers & Partners.
