About the webcast
In this session, we will provide a practical overview of EU and Australian Public CbCR, focusing on how the rules operate in practice and how groups can organize their approach efficiently.
We will cover key aspects of the EU framework, including filing approaches and practical considerations arising from initial implementation experience, as well as an overview of the Australian regime and its alignment in timing with EU developments. We will also explore how organizations can approach both frameworks in a coordinated manner to support consistency and efficiency.
While the overall direction of Public CbCR is broadly aligned, local variations in timing, filing requirements, and formats continue to emerge. We will share practical insights into how these differences are being addressed in practice, including examples of jurisdictions with specific requirements and how these may be managed as part of a broader implementation strategy.
We will also touch on evolving filing formats and data considerations, and what these developments may mean for internal systems and processes.
Public CbCR is not only a compliance exercise but also involves an element of external communication. The session will include observations on how disclosures may be interpreted by stakeholders and considerations for developing a clear and consistent narrative alongside the data, particularly from Japanese MNEs' perspective.
