Rainer Bätz has been Chief Operating Officer for Deloitte EMEA since June 2026. Prior to this, from June 2020 to May 2026, he served as COO/CFO for Deloitte Germany and as COO for Deloitte Central Europe (DCE).
He brings extensive experience in managing and executing complex transformation programs, particularly in the establishment of shared service centers, the optimization of end-to-end processes, and large-scale software implementations (including S/4HANA). In addition, he has many years of experience as a CFO in leading and managing finance organizations.
With more than 20 years of professional experience at Deloitte, he began his career in Financial Advisory, specializing in transaction advisory, due diligence, and corporate valuations. His work has primarily focused on M&A projects and capital markets transactions.
Rainer Bätz also has strong automotive expertise and has led numerous cross-functional projects for leading automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
