Beverage company Kofola is expanding its herbal pillar by acquiring a 100% stake in Nobilis Tilia, a pioneer in natural aromatherapy cosmetics from Bohemian Switzerland.
The company was built up over almost 30 years by botanist Zbyněk Šedivý and the Zrubecký couple. In addition to aromatherapy, they are also involved in the production of pure natural cosmetics. They currently operate an e-shop, stores in Prague, Brno, and Ostrava, and an aromatherapy center in Vlčí Hora. In 2024, the company achieved a turnover of CZK 184 million and an EBITDA profit of CZK 20 million.
Kofola will incorperate Nobilis Tilla under the Leros tea brand, which has been creating its own line of natural cosmetics since 2022. This acquisition will significantly strengthen Kofola's herbal division with the ambition to expand into foreign markets. Kofola continues to expand its portfolio overall, with Nobilis Tilia being the company's third acquisition in the last six months.
