Veolia Energie ČR, the Czech subsidiary of the multinational Veolia Group, has acquired Energo Příbram from the investment group Natland. Natland had owned the company since 2019 and invested in its modernization during that time. Energo Příbram supplies heat and hot water to approximately 30,000 residents and the city’s industrial zone through an 18-kilometre hot water pipeline and two low-emission biomass boilers. The site also includes a cogeneration unit with an output of 45 MWe, allowing for the combined production of electricity and heat. In 2024, the company reported revenues exceeding CZK 400 million and an EBITDA of CZK 100 million.
Veolia is one of the largest heat suppliers in the Czech Republic, delivering heat and hot water to 580,000 households and 300 industrial enterprises. In Příbram, Veolia also operates in the water management sector through its subsidiary 1. SčV, which manages the local wastewater treatment plant.
The Natland investment group focuses on real estate and energy in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, managing assets worth approximately CZK 4 billion. The completion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Czech Office for the Protection of Competition.
