Jet Investment acquires Polish plastics manufacturer

Jet Investment has acquired a majority stake in Polish plastics manufacturer Plastiwell International.

The Brno-based investment group Jet Investment has taken a majority stake in Plastiwell International, a Polish producer of plastic components for the automotive industry, electronics, and sports equipment. The group aims to capitalize on the expected growth of the global plastics market, which, according to Precedence Research, is projected to grow at an annual rate of 5% over the next decade.

Following last year’s acquisition of TMR Plastics for approximately CZK 280 million, Plastiwell now operates three production facilities employing around 1,000 people. In 2024, the entire group recorded revenues of CZK 2.5 billion.

Jet Investment manages capital exceeding CZK 15 billion across five funds. This deal marks the first investment of the Jet 3 fund, which has earmarked over EUR 100 million for further acquisitions of mid-sized industrial companies in Central Europe. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed and its completion is subject to approval by the Polish antitrust authority.
