CEIP enters the German market with acquisition of Timotec

Czech investment fund CEIP has acquired the German company Timotec and is building a technology group under its brand, focused on the field of controlled cleanroom environments.

CEIP, a Czech private equity fund, acquired Timotec through its portfolio company BLOCK. Timotec specializes in isolators, laminar flow systems, and cleanroom solutions. The transaction value has not been disclosed by the parties involved.

This step follows CEIP’s acquisition of a 55% stake in the BLOCK Group in May 2024. After the transaction, Timotec was integrated with other companies in CEIP’s portfolio — namely Czech-based Block Technology and Slovakia-based For Clean. The newly formed Timotech Group aims to become the leading Central European player in the development and production of isolators, laminar systems, and cleanroom solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical, and biotechnology sectors. The group’s expected revenue for this year is €16.5 million.
