FAQ – Frequently asked questions about working at Deloitte

Students & Graduates

Yes. For students (most often in their 3rd–5th year), we primarily offer long‑term part‑time roles that can be combined with studies:

  • long‑term part‑time roles (typically min. 20 hours per week),
  • occasionally shorter internships depending on current team needs.

All currently open internships and part‑time opportunities are published exclusively on our careers website, and applications must be submitted via the specific advertised position.

If you are looking for an internship through a partner university, please contact your university’s designated contact person directly.

Graduate‑friendly roles are advertised by some teams throughout the year, so we recommend checking our careers website regularly.

For certain roles, recruitment is seasonal. For example, the full‑time role in Audit (Audit Analyst) typically starts in September; positions are usually published from late February and filled on a rolling basis. We therefore recommend not leaving your job search to the last minute and starting in spring so that your summer is less stressful.

Due to internal reasons, opportunities to write bachelor’s/master’s theses and participate in internal research are offered only to our employees who are students. We do not currently provide external cooperation on bachelor’s/master’s theses.

Selection Process

Applications are always submitted via a specific open role on our careers website:

  • choose the position that suits you,
  • apply using the application form on that job posting,
  • upload your CV and complete the required details (including consent for personal data processing).

Open positions can be found here.

No. We accept applications for jobs and internships exclusively through the specific advertised position on our careers website. Unfortunately, applications sent by email or via a general contact form cannot be included in the recruitment process.

  • The course of the selection process varies depending on the department/team where the position is being filled.
  • After sending the application with a resume, the candidate is typically contacted by a recruiter within a week with feedback and possibly a request for additional resume details. If they meet the criteria for the position, they are invited for an interview, which can be held online or in person.
  • Interviews can take various forms. It might be a discussion about the candidate's experiences, their motivation and expectations from both sides, they might be given a case study to work on, a knowledge test, or they might be invited to an assessment center.
  • The number of interview rounds varies depending on the position and department. However, one can generally expect 1-3 rounds within a single selection process. More detailed information will always be provided by the recruiting recruiter.
  • Throughout the selection process, the candidate is always informed about the status of the process and feedback after each round.
  • If the candidate is selected, they receive an official offer from us.
  • Depending on the number of selection process rounds, the duration of the process spans several weeks.

At the moment, we only consider applications for specific open positions published on our careers website. Unfortunately, we cannot accept CVs that are not linked to a specific advertised role (also due to GDPR and consent requirements for personal data processing).

If you cannot find a suitable role right now, we recommend checking our careers pages regularly — we add new opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Brno and Ostrava

An important benefit of our Moravian branches is the family atmosphere, which is carried by a normal working day and informal post-work activities – in Brno, for example, it is a joint event in one of the Moravian cellars to welcome newcomers or the St. Nicholas Day with a program for the children of our colleagues.
