Leona is an ESG expert, specializing in environmental issues, with over eleven years of experience in both the commercial and academic sectors.
She currently focuses primarily on European Union environmental regulations, such as the Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). She also works on sustainable supply chains, non-financial reporting (CSRD, GRI, ESRS), environmental management according to ISO 14001, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations.
Leona specializes in guiding organizations through the process of implementing regulatory requirements in the area of sustainability and setting strategies, offering targeted support in fulfilling future obligations and building transparent, responsible supply systems. As part of her work at Deloitte, she has been involved in ESG reporting, double materiality analysis, stakeholder engagement, ESG due diligence, and biodiversity integration across various sectors, including retail, energy, automotive, real estate, and finance.
