TMT Highlights Czech Republic 2026

How companies in the Czech Republic use AI

Artificial intelligence in Czech companies is gradually moving from pilot projects to everyday operations and is becoming part of key processes. It already brings measurable benefits to companies, especially in the areas of efficiency, productivity and decision-making. However, its wider use is facing limits in the readiness of companies – from the availability of data and infrastructure to the lack of professional capacity.

AI Adoption in Czech Companies 2026 report

Key Highlights

Companies perceive artificial intelligence as beneficial – 85% of companies confirm an increase in efficiency thanks to AI, 73% already have or are preparing an AI strategy, but 44% do not measure its use at all. Although AI brings concrete results to companies, most companies are still using it for optimization rather than deeper transformation.

So far, AI is mainly changing the internal functioning of companies – Although companies see clear benefits, only 18% of them associate AI with revenue growth and only 21% perceive an impact on customer experience. For now, artificial intelligence remains primarily a tool for internal efficiency, not for creating new business models.

AI hits its limits of readiness – The biggest obstacles are a lack of qualified specialists (43%), limited infrastructure (36%) and insufficient data quality or availability (35%).

Investments in AI are growing gradually and purposefully – Most companies today only invest between 1-10% of their IT budget in AI, which shows that investments are incremental rather than transformational.

Trust, security, and regulation influence further development – Up to 75% of companies consider data protection and security to be the main risk associated with AI. With the increasing use, AI is becoming not only a technological topic, but also a strategic and regulatory topic.

„Artificial intelligence is no longer just a technological trend, but a fundamental factor that changes people's behavior and company strategy. The key is how quickly we can move from experimentation to full integration into business.
Jan Kudlák, Director, TMT, M&A, Strategy Services
Companies are transforming because of AI

AI is no longer just a tool added to existing IT systems, but a force that transforms the way technology organizations are designed, managed, and led.

We see that AI adoption is growing rapidly in the Czech Republic, but the real challenge remains trust, measuring benefits, and the ability to scale solutions across the organization. This is what will determine future competitiveness.“
Julie Slavík, Manager, TMT, Strategy Services
What will determine success

Success will be determined by the ability of companies to effectively deploy and scale artificial intelligence across teams, realistically measure its benefits in practice, and work with quality data and reliable infrastructure. Ensuring security, meeting regulatory requirements, and building trust — both internally and externally — will also be crucial.
