Key Highlights

Consumer behaviour in the digital world
  • Smartphones are indispensable: 70% of Czechs cannot imagine life without them. They have become personal assistants for communication, work, payments and navigation.
  • Al is becoming increasingly common: Its use is soaring, simplifying work, play and everyday tasks.
  • The gender gap is blurring: Artificial intelligence is becoming more accessible, leading to a more balanced use of AI across different demographics.
  • Personalisation is key: Consumers expect smarter and more intuitive environments tailored to their needs.
In 2025, we’re not asking if AI will transform industries—we’re asking how far it will go. From autonomous agents to on-device intelligence, technology is becoming an invisible force, woven into everything we do.“
Julie Šislerová, CE TMT Research & Innovation
ChatGPT and work tasks continue to lead the way

The three most used tools among Czech users are ChatGPT (45%), MS Copilot (5%) and Gemini (4%). Czechs use them most often for solving work tasks (31%), assisting in everyday life (20%), out of curiosity (16%) or for fun (14%).

AI isn’t coming—it’s now. We don’t think about using electricity or the internet—we just live in a world powered by them. AI is following the same path. Instead of being a tool we actively engage with, AI is blending into the background, making life smarter, faster, and more intuitive.“
Jan Kudlák, CE TMT Advisory Leader
What's next?

Al becomes proactive: Al doesn't just react, he takes proactive action, automating decisions and streamlining workflows.

AI enters the home in physical form: Smart glasses, robots to keep us company or clean for us – AI is becoming an assistant in our daily lives.

Tech boundaries are blurring: Spatial computing, AI-powered chatbots, and multimodal models are redefining how we interact with technology.
