Marianna currently holds the position of Manager in Deloitte Cyprus’ Tax & Legal Service Line. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from University College London (UCL) and successfully completed the ACA qualification in 2017. She has 8 years of experience in Tax, specialising in international and local direct tax matters.
Marianna has been involved in various advisory/restructuring projects and compliance services, involving large multinational groups, over the years. She is a subject matter expert on various international tax topics, i.e. on Pillar Two, DAC6 and ATAD.
Further, Marianna leads the Cyprus Gi3 service, and has been involved in large-scale EU-funded multi-partner projects, being responsible for research, ideation & implementation of business models, fiscal & financial schemes and commercialisation strategies. In addition, she is part of the ARIS start-up accelerator team, providing mentorship to start-ups from a tax and commercial perspective.
Lastly, she has been part of the Quality, Risk and Reputation team of Tax & Legal for 6 years, being involved in the development and monitoring of relevant policies and procedures.
