Deloitte and ANREV jointly launched Review of Reporting Best Practice Asia 2011 edition

We are pleased to present the Review of Reporting Best Practice Asia 2011, published jointly by ANREV and Deloitte China.

This study aims to analyse non-listed real estate funds annual reports to determine the extent to which they comply with the INREV Guidelines* on annual reporting and to identify the current market best practices for this topic in Asia. This report will help improve the transparency of and promote best practices and professionalism in the financial and management reporting of the non-listed real estate funds industry in Asia.

We hope you find this report a useful reference in understanding the extent to which the standards currently attained by non-listed real estate funds in Asia complying with the best practice guidelines. 

* The INREV Guidelines provide investors and fund managers with an integrated set of principles, best practice requirements and recommendations for governance and information provision for non-listed real estate vehicles. ANREV signed a cooperation agreement with INREV, its sister organization in Europe, in December 2009 to endorse the guidelines in the region.
