Deloitte China assists listing of Haiwei Elec on SEHK

The second largest capacitor film manufacturer in China

Deloitte China supported the listing of Hebei Haiwei Electronic New Material Technology Co. – H Share (Haiwei Elec, stock ticker: 09609.HK) on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK) on 28 November 2025.

In this global offering, Haiwei Elec issued about 35.46 million H shares following the full exercise of the offer size adjustment option, at HKD14.28 each, raising around HKD506 million.

According to information from a professional research institution, Haiwei Elec is China’s 2nd largest capacitor film manufacturer in terms of capacitor base film sales volume in 2024. Haiwei Elec’s capacitor film products include capacitor base films and metallised films. These products are key components of film capacitors. Film capacitors apply to end-use application scenarios, including new energy vehicles (NEVs), new energy electricity system, industrial equipment, and home appliances.

Haiwei Elec is at the midstream segment of the capacitor film industrial chain. Haiwei Elec’s customers primarily include film capacitor manufacturers, and BYD, a NEV company in China.
