Kwasi Mitchell leads Deloitte’s Global Consulting Services, Technology & Transformation business, which encompasses Technology, Engineering, AI, Cyber, Customer, Finance Transformation, and Human Capital. In this capacity, he guides Deloitte’s global consulting strategy and brings together multidisciplinary teams to help organizations transform, grow, and create lasting value amid complex business and societal challenges.
Kwasi is a member of the Deloitte Global Executive and previously served on the DTTL Board of Directors. Prior to his current role, he served as Deloitte US Managing Principal–Growth & Purpose, where he led the overall client experience by bringing the full breadth of Deloitte’s service capabilities and assets to market, deepening client relationships and fostering innovative growth opportunities across businesses and industries. He also oversaw Deloitte’s purpose ambitions, including driving client impact and value, as well as the firm’s own investments, commitments, and actions across sustainability, opportunity, and trust.
Throughout his career, Kwasi has integrated multidisciplinary teams to promote collaboration, innovation, and measurable progress for business and society. He established Deloitte’s first Purpose Office, embedding Purpose throughout the firm’s actions, practitioner talent experience, and resource allocation to address complex societal issues. He previously served as both Global and US Chief Sustainability Officer and has held various leadership positions within Deloitte Consulting LLP, including roles in Human Capital and as the former Government & Public Services Strategy & Analytics Offering Leader.
Kwasi holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Northwestern and an MBA from Drexel University. He serves on several national and global nonprofit boards, where he works to advance a more equitable society.
