Dora Liu has been Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte China since 1 June 2025, leading the firm across Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR. She drives Deloitte China’s commitment to helping clients seize opportunities and achieve sustainable, high-quality growth through the multi-disciplinary model of audit, tax and consulting, AI-powered solutions and a future fit professional workforce.
Dora joined Deloitte’s Shanghai office in 1993 and also worked in the firm’s Tokyo and New York offices. She has spent her career serving financial institutions, including banks, securities firms, funds, and insurers, leading major projects such as the share transformation and IPO of Agricultural Bank of China, the A-share IPO of Bank of Communications, and the annual audit of China Telecom. She has also spearheaded industry research and innovation, collaborating with the Ministry of Finance and CICPA on international financial institution analysis, Belt and Road accounting infrastructure, and digital transformation in accounting firms.
Before becoming CEO, Dora held several senior leadership roles within Deloitte China, including Deputy CEO, Chief Quality and Transformation Officer, National Leader of Audit & Assurance, Regional Managing Partner for Eastern China, Financial Services Industry National Leader, and National Innovation Services Leader. She also established Deloitte China’s first Greenhouse, leveraging the SPEED SET, a revolutionary acceleration model to foster industry-academia collaboration and accelerate the commercialization of innovative ideas and solutions.
Dora is the recipient of “National Leading Accounting Talent” award by the Ministry of Finance.
Dora is a fellow member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is fluent in Chinese, English, and Japanese.
