Karl is a Director in Deloitte's Financial Advisory Forensic practice. He is an experienced leader and specialist in data analytics and AI, focussing on protecting his clients’ business. Karl applies data, analytics and AI to financial crime prevention, forensic investigation, and compliance. Management of AI risk and compliance is the second field where he applies his longstanding analytics, risk, and compliance experience.
Karl has more than 20 years of experience in audit and advisory for various industries and in different risk and technology functions in financial services. He has a background in engineering and economics, holds a PhD in Science and is a certified Professional Risk Manager.
