Odette has over 25 years’ public accounting experience, with 22 years specializing in the alternative investment management industry. She provides audit and assurance services to a diverse client base by serving both emerging and large asset managers, fund administrators and private banks. Odette’s industry experience also includes approximately two years as the Mutual Fund Account Manager for a reputable fund administrator based in the Cayman Islands. In addition to her Audit & Assurance role, Odette leads the Cayman Islands firm’s Growth and Corporate Responsibility team, and serves on the Board of DCB Holding Ltd., the Deloitte member firm in the Caribbean and Bermuda region. Odette is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and has authored various industry-focused publications. She is the co-founder of 100 Women in Finance (100WF) Cayman, and is currently a member of 100WF’s Global Council. Odette Co-Chairs the GAIM Ops Cayman conference, the Cayman Islands’ leading investment management operations, compliance and due diligence event. She is a former Board member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) Cayman and is a former Council Member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA).

Serge Berube is the Audit & Assurance Leader of Deloitte Cayman Islands. He is a partner in the asset management group and has over 25 years of public accounting experience, the majority of which has been with Deloitte in the Cayman Islands. Serge’s career has been focused around serving asset managers, hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds and structured finance clients. He has served numerous global priority asset management clients and multi-jurisdictional fund structures. Serge is actively involved in assisting clients navigate the various regulatory, structural and operational frameworks of the asset management industry. He has spoken at industry conferences, has authored articles, and is actively involved in industry thought leadership. Serge is a US Certified Public Accountant, a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Serge holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, Canada and is former president of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (a member of IFAC).

John Marrs has 14 years of experience in public accounting with Deloitte, including the last 12 years with Deloitte Cayman Islands focusing on the investment management sector. He leads audits of various financial services clients, including hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity funds and banks. John largely focuses on leading alternative investment fund audits for a Global Crown Jewel client. John plays an active role on the business development team other eminence building activities. John has also led a number of internal special projects including USI integration, Private Funds Act implementation and our new office fit out at 60 Nexus Way. John received both a Masters of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration –Accounting/Finance from Texas State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Cayman Islands Society of Public Accountants.

Grant is a Partner in Financial Advisory specializing in court appointed and voluntary liquidations, the wind down of investment funds, and company restructurings. He has over 14 years' experience in public accounting, 12 of which have been focused on providing services to clients in the financial services industry. He has served as liquidator and overseen a number of fund wind down, liquidation and restructuring engagements, and has undertaken forensic accounting investigations, and provided dispute resolution, asset recovery and other advisory services to stakeholders of companies, partnerships and trusts. Grant is highly experienced in developing and executing wind down strategies tailored to address the needs of stakeholders, and over the years he has worked on a variety of complex matters involving regulatory investigations, illiquid assets, claims investigations, litigation, indemnity obligations, sanctioned investors, and foreign tax claims. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Cayman Islands Qualified Insolvency Practitioner. Grant is a member of CIIPA, AICPA, AIRA, ACFE, RISA, and INSOL International. Grant volunteers as a trustee to the Cayman Islands Chamber Pension Plan, as a member of the Membership & Communications Committee of RISA, and as a mentor to the Cayman Finance Student and Workforce Experience Program. He completed an executive education course on Negotiation and Leadership lead by the Harvard Program on Negotiation, as well as Leadership Cayman, a leadership development program overseen by the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce.

Anthony is the leader of the Cayman Tax Practice and has worked with some of the largest asset management firms. He has over 23 years of public accounting experience, which has been focused on the US taxation of alternative investment products, including hedge funds, private equity funds, family investment partnerships, offshore funds and fund-of-funds. He facilitates tax reporting, provides tax advisory services, assists with tax efficient structuring and advises clients on the Automatic Exchange of Information, OECD Country by Country Reporting and the Economic Substance requirements.

Lise Corbin is a Partner specialising in Risk Advisory services with a concentration in Regulatory and Legal Support, and Accounting and Internal Controls. She has over 20 years of experience working at the Deloitte offices in the Cayman Islands and Toronto, Canada. Her skill set has allowed her to work with clients international across a broad array of industry sectors specialising in financial services. As a seasoned risk leader, Lise is responsible for driving Deloitte’s Regulatory and Legal Support offering across Deloitte’s Caribbean and Bermuda Countries by supporting clients with the full life-cycle of related initiatives, including: the development of strategies, structures and processes to anticipate and adapt to changes in regulatory environments; design, assess, and transform the process, controls, and infrastructure needed to address the wide variety of specific regulations and regulatory risks; and respond to specific breakdowns in regulatory compliance programs. Key areas Lise focuses on include supporting clients with their Anti-Money Laundering and Data Protection programmes. Lise is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). She also holds the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designations. Lise is also a strong advocate for diversity and creating a more inclusive workplace, and is a champion for the advancement and development of women leaders. Lise is a founding member of Cayman’s 100 Women in Finance and was co-chair from 2017 – 2018 and has continued her focus on promoting female leaders by helping drive and support Deloitte’s ALL IN strategy, which aims to increase the representation of women in leadership and promote a more inclusive culture for all under-represented minorities.

Pieta leads the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) practice at Deloitte in the Caribbean and Bermuda region (Deloitte CBC). Her skillset draws on more than 10 years of experience growing data science/machine learning capability and delivering large-scale projects for public and private sector organisations. Pieta’s expertise spans the full AI lifecycle, from building AI literacy and identifying opportunities through strategy development, technology implementation and governance. Prior to joining Deloitte CBC, Pieta was AI & Data Director for Deloitte New Zealand, based in Auckland. Pieta holds a Masters of Professional Studies in Data Science, a Bachelor of Laws, a Postgraduate Certification in Health Informatics and is an ICAgile Certified Professional. She currently serves on a research advisory board and a data ethics committee. Pieta has authored/collaborated on several AI and Data research publications and was part of a team awarded the Prime Minister’s Science Prize (New Zealand) in 2020. She has also been recognised as a finalist in the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards.

Lawrence has been with Deloitte for 14 years, including 4 years at Deloitte South Africa and 10 years with the Cayman Islands firm. Lawrence leads audits for various financial services clients, including hedge funds, funds of funds, venture capital funds, and private equity funds. He is a subject matter expert in the private equity sector and leads our valuation audit assist efforts, providing specialized knowledge on valuing unlisted entities and bringing a strong market presence to this sector. Lawrence primarily focuses on leading larger private equity fund audits.
