I enjoy volunteering but these days I’m feeling a bit short on time so right now it’s the perfect fit for me to offer cash donations to those in need.

Like many of you, I donated to Meals on Wheels and Feed our Future during Deloitte’s COVID-19 charity drive.  Recently, I donated to Resilience Cayman, an initiative managed by the Chamber of Commerce specifically designed to offer food support to Cayman residents who have stopped working for reasons related to COVID-19, whose monthly earnings are less than $1,000, and who are not approved to receive food vouchers from government.

There are so many locally based charities it’s not difficult to find a cause to feel good about supporting. I was all signed up to donate to the Blood Bank but then ended up on antibiotics so I was temporarily turned away as a donor but I’ll get back there just as soon as I can.

Carrie supports:
