Mike Green leads the Turnaround and Restructuring practice of Deloitte in the Caribbean and Bermuda region. Mike is a UK and Cayman Islands qualified insolvency practitioner, as well as being a registered insolvency practitioner in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). Mike has over 16 years’ experience providing cross-border restructuring advice and formal insolvency services. This experience includes acting as official, provisional and voluntary liquidator, as well as Court-appointed receiver, to Cayman Islands domiciled companies. Mike specialises in conducting financial investigations, asset recovery actions and managing litigation, as well as managing the wind down of investment funds. Mike also has experience advising clients on a range of pre-liquidation, operational and forensic review related matters.
Mike is a qualified insolvency practitioner (JIEB), a chartered accountant (FCA), a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), a member of the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialists Association (RISA), a member of the International Insolvency Institute (III) and a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA). Mike has also been an active member of the Legal and Regulatory Committee of RISA since 2015.
