Marcin Czarnocki

Marcin has been with Deloitte for 18 years, including 15 in the Cayman Islands. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and practiced as a public company auditor for 3 years in South Africa. In 2010, Marcin relocated to the Cayman Islands and practiced as an auditor in the financial services industry for a further 2 years.

Marcin has over 12 years’ experience specializing in providing restructuring advice and managing insolvency engagements in the Cayman Islands and more recently in Bermuda. He has significant experience in managing complex cross-border insolvency appointments involving fraud investigations, litigation, asset realisation and stakeholder dispute resolution. Marcin continues to manage solvent and insolvent liquidations of entitles, including investment funds, insurance entities, banks and holding company structures domiciled in the Caribbean region.

Marcin is a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants, the Recovery & Insolvency Specialists’ Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors.
