Lawrence Usher is a partner in the Audit & Assurance practice at Deloitte Cayman Islands. He has been with Deloitte for over 14 years, including 4 years in South Africa and 10 years in the Cayman Islands.
Lawrence leads audits for various financial services clients, including hedge funds, funds of funds, venture capital funds, and private equity funds. He is a subject matter expert in the private equity sector and leads the firm’s valuation audit assist efforts, providing specialized knowledge on valuing unlisted entities and bringing a strong market presence to this sector. He primarily focuses on leading larger private equity fund audits.
Lawrence holds a B.Compt Honors: Post Graduate Degree in Accounting. He is a Licensed Practitioner with the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA) and a Member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
