Grant is a Partner in Financial Advisory specializing in court appointed and voluntary liquidations, the wind down of investment funds, and company restructurings. He has over 14 years' experience in public accounting, 12 of which have been focused on providing services to clients in the financial services industry.
He has served as liquidator and overseen a number of fund wind down, liquidation and restructuring engagements, and has undertaken forensic accounting investigations, and provided dispute resolution, asset recovery and other advisory services to stakeholders of companies, partnerships and trusts.
Grant is highly experienced in developing and executing wind down strategies tailored to address the needs of stakeholders, and over the years he has worked on a variety of complex matters involving regulatory investigations, illiquid assets, claims investigations, litigation, indemnity obligations, sanctioned investors, and foreign tax claims.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Cayman Islands Qualified Insolvency Practitioner. Grant is a member of CIIPA, AICPA, AIRA, ACFE, RISA, and INSOL International.
Grant volunteers as a trustee to the Cayman Islands Chamber Pension Plan, as a member of the Membership & Communications Committee of RISA, and as a mentor to the Cayman Finance Student and Workforce Experience Program. He completed an executive education course on Negotiation and Leadership lead by the Harvard Program on Negotiation, as well as Leadership Cayman, a leadership development program overseen by the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce.
