Michael Yacyshyn | Cayman Islands

Mike is a Partner in Cayman Islands firm and has been involved with audits in the financial services industry for the past 19 years he has been with Deloitte. He is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant with 24 years public accounting experience in both Canada and in the Cayman Islands. In addition, Mike has been responsible for the internal management of Deloitte Cayman’s audit department for many years along with overseeing the firm’s Cross-Border Audit process.

As the Cayman Islands firm’s Chief Operating Officer, Mike is responsible for the overall strategic direction and development of the firm, and provides operational support to the Managing Partner. Mike also continues to work as an audit Partner on a portfolio of audit engagements.

Mike is a licensed practitioner with the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants, as well as a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. He is actively involved in the Cayman community, volunteering for local sports associations and other programs.
