Serge Berube

Serge Berube is the Audit & Assurance Leader of Deloitte Cayman Islands. He is a partner in the asset management group and has over 25 years of public accounting experience, the majority of which has been with Deloitte in the Cayman Islands.

Serge’s career has been focused around serving asset managers, hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds and structured finance clients. He has served numerous global priority asset management clients and multi-jurisdictional fund structures.

Serge is actively involved in assisting clients navigate the various regulatory, structural and operational frameworks of the asset management industry. He has spoken at industry conferences, has authored articles, and is actively involved in industry thought leadership.

Serge is a US Certified Public Accountant, a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Serge holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, Canada and is former president of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (a member of IFAC).
