What do you like most about your role?
It allows my brain to be constantly ticking. Working with figures is one of my strengths, and a lot of computations are done within the Tax Department.

What attracted you to Deloitte?
The workplace environment - it is a great place to work!

Describe your day to day role
Working in the Tax Department allows me to communicate with clients. I must have accurate information when doing corporate tax returns and individual tax returns. There is a specific process that must be followed from the start to the end of a tax return. This process along with due diligence reveals whether a company or individual has taxes to pay or if they are entitled to a refund from the authorities.

What else have your been involved with since joining Deloitte?
I have participated in numerous Impact days, I have captained the local Deloitte cricket team and I have done other voluntary work with the Habitat for Humanity Trinidad and Tobago.

What is Deloitte’s role in your longer term career goals?
Deloitte has been a learning forum where I have been able to gain new skills and develop other areas. The knowledge gained allows me to be better at what I do and prepares me for future professional growth.

What have you enjoyed most?
The learning process has been exceptional and I cannot ask for anything better.
