Michele Parmelee is a Sustainability, Climate & Equity Principal in the Clients & Markets Growth organization of Deloitte US. Michele serves as the Global LCSP of the World Economic Forum and a Leader on the International Olympic Committee account, in the areas of purpose and TOP integration. She is the US Sustainability Priority Leader.
Michele served as Deloitte Global Deputy CEO and Chief People & Purpose Officer from June 2015 to May 2023 – leading a broad portfolio of programs that enhance Deloitte’s global brand, reputation, and talent experience. She was a member of the Deloitte Global Executive Committee.
In her nearly 25 years with Deloitte, Michele has also delivered strategy and operations consulting services to Financial Services clients, was the Secretary of the Deloitte US board of directors and led the Office of the US Chairman.
Outside of Deloitte, Michele is the President of the International Organization of Employers (IOE). She is a Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the United States Council for International Business (USCIB).
Michele serves as a member of the United Way Worldwide Board of Trustees and its Executive Compensation Committee. Michele also serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
Michele has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA magna cum laude with honors from Brown University.
