Manager – Financial Advisory & Consulting Services

The role with us

We are currently seeking a dynamic manager with experience in risk management, internal audits, and financial management to join our advisory and consulting services division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit and finance management, with a focus on providing advisory services related to internal audit practices and maintaining effective internal controls for our clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and deliver customised consulting solutions for a diverse range of clients
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify potential business risks and control weaknesses, and recommend strategies for improvement
  • Perform internal audits, evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Develop and deliver training programs on internal controls, risk management, and other relevant financial topics
  • Assist clients with financial statement preparation, analysis, and interpretation
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage and provide coaching and mentoring of junior staff. 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
  • Member of CPA and/or Member of Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) (CPA or equivalent designation a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, industry, or a relevant consulting role
  • Proven experience in conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and financial statement analysis
  • Strong understanding of internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO framework) and risk management principles
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships with clients at all levels 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
