Anita Ghose is Deloitte Australia’s Lead Partner Aged Care; Partner, Health and Life Sciences in Transformation and Operations; Partner member of the Deloitte Global Health and Social Care practice; SME Partner Deloitte Canada and Asia Pacific.
Anita is a Consulting Partner with over 25 years’ senior executive and consulting experience at state, national and international levels across government and industry. She has worked extensively across Australia and globally driving growth, innovation and transformation within connected communities of practice to make an impact.
She specialises in leading large-scale transformation programs that recognise the regulatory, policy, funding, quality, operational, workforce and technology challenges as well as innovation and future state considerations. She brings deep industry experience and knowledge of the macro and micro systems and industry level reform as a turn-around specialist in business performance and optimisation. This includes strategy, change management, regulatory, financial and operational diagnostics, due diligence, re-structuring, cost containment, revenue and business models; workforce reconfiguration; automation and digitisation; customer experience; innovative models of care; enhanced health and wellbeing outcomes. Clients include the Australian Government, State Government, banking and financial sector, Australian health and social care industry and more broadly across global clients, industries and markets.
Anita has been an aged care advisor to The Hon Ken Wyatt’s Aged Care Reform Think Tank and Technical Advisory Group member for Professor John Pollaers’ Aged Care Workforce Taskforce; Expert Advisor on the development of the Federal Government’s National Women’s Health Strategy for 2020-2030; Co-Chair of the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Positive Ageing Working Group, is a member of the COTA WA Positive Ageing Alliance and an Australian Valuing Children Ambassador.
She has held the role of Adjunct Professor at the University of Notre Dame Australia in the area of health sciences where outcomes and the impact of physical and human/social environments on health and wellbeing is a strong focus. Anita was a State Finalist in the Telstra Australian Business Woman of the Year Awards recognising service to community, government and industry.
