Hong Kong, 10 April 2026 – Deloitte Asia Pacific today announced that Robert Hillard has been endorsed by partners as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)-elect of Deloitte Asia Pacific for a four-year term commencing 1 June 2026.
The partner vote followed a board‑led nomination and roadshow process across Asia Pacific geographies and recorded strong participation and a very high level of support. This outcome signals broad confidence in Robert’s appointment by partners across Asia Pacific.
Robert currently serves as Deloitte Asia Pacific Consulting Businesses Leader and has held a number of senior leadership roles across the region, including Asia Pacific Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer for Deloitte Australia. He has previously served on the Deloitte Global Board and in other senior roles, providing him with deep experience representing Asia Pacific in global decision making and investment priorities.
Drawing on his background as a technologist and transformation leader, Robert intends to focus on helping Deloitte firms in the Asia Pacific region support clients and navigate an AI‑enabled, fast‑changing regional economy, while strengthening collaboration across Deloitte Asia Pacific businesses.
Robert will succeed David Hill, who has served as Deloitte Asia Pacific CEO since June 2022. David chose not to seek re-election for a second term following completion of his four-year term on 31 May 2026. David and Robert are working closely to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
A further announcement outlining Robert’s priorities and the leadership transition will be made on 1 June 2026, when he formally assumes the role of Deloitte Asia Pacific CEO.
