National Salary Survey 2019 | Employee Engagement Survey 2019

In May, Deloitte Dutch Caribbean will launch the 2019 National Salary Survey and the 2019 Employee Engagement Survey. Our previous surveys were successful, with more than 130 participating organizations, we aim to surpass the success of the previous surveys.

There is a great need for up-to-date information regarding the labor market. In particular, topics pertaining to employment conditions, trends, and practices regarding employee compensation. By participating in the National Salary Survey, you will be contributing to the professionalization of Human Resources Management in Curaçao, Aruba and Bonaire. In Addition, you will gain insight into:

  • Your positioning in the market in terms of primary and secondary compensations and benefits;
  • Trends regarding compensation & benefits and relating topics such as performants management and job evaluation.

These insights are useful in the development or adaptation of your remuneration policy, compensation package and/or salary structure, in making decisions on aspects such as indexation, salary increase and in negotiating primary and secondary remuneration and renewal of (collective) employment agreements.

The Research

The research consists of a survey. The data gathered includes function lists & function rankings, information on salaries (salary structure), and information (policy) on additional benefits and related matters. Your data will be analyzed and compared to the data national results.

What do you get for it?

Participation in this research is free of charge. Organizations participating in the research receive a summary of the research results of their specific sector (in regards to the primary working conditions). In addition, organizations can pay a fee to obtain a comprehensive report on the research.

Why an Employee Engagement Survey?

In addition to the National Salary Survey, Deloitte also offers you an employee engagement survey. This is an (online) questionnaire that gives you insight into the engagement of your employees. Deloitte offers customized questionnaires: the questions are adapted to your organization and wishes. This research provides you with a report on the engagement of the employees within your organization. These results are specific to your organization and will not be compared at function, branch or national level. For participation you can send an email to:

Confidentiality and Anonymity

Confidentiality will be ensured, the information you provide wil be carefully taken care of. Any data provided will be destroyed after processing. Furthermore, the research results published will be anonymous and will not contain any names of organizations or any other identifiable data from the organization.
