Audit Associate

What impact will you make?

As an Audit Associate, you apply what you learn in practice every day. We work for different clients, at different locations but are connected through this new central team. As an Audit Associate, you will have the opportunity to educate yourself by serving a variety of clients, active in different sectors and from different countries. This new team consists of a group of motivated colleagues within the BPS department in the Dutch Caribbean and is responsible for standard high-quality checks for various customers from different sectors. The client portfolio is internationally oriented. As an Audit Associate, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself while serving these clients. You will gain in-depth insight into business processes and accounting processes.

How do you do this?

• Through continuous development, training and internal education;
• By using data analysis and the latest, innovative audit techniques;
• By contributing to standardized work processes;
• By utilizing and implementing agile project management techniques;
• By deepening knowledge about the business processes that ultimately lead to financial statements.

You share your expertise with colleagues in the Dutch Caribbean from Curacao/Aruba. Our team offers our clients qualitative audit/accountancy advice. Furthermore, we a work on audit-related issues in the field of reporting and internal control issues.

• A completed academic education in Accounting or Business Economics;
• The skills of a team player;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;

• A healthy dose of humor and perseverance;
• Intrinsic motivation to learn from others;
• An excellent control of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
