What impact will you make?

As a Consultant Strategy & Business Design, you advise clients on strategy development, process optimization and organisational transformation. You will contribute to the design, transformation and improvement of vital client processes, with a strong focus on (but not limited to) the public sector.

Based on the client’s strategy, policy context and operating environment, you will help shape business processes and organisational models that are efficient, effective, sustainable and client-focused. In this role, an understanding of the public sector, the constitutional relations within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and relevant economic developments in the Dutch Caribbean is important.

How do you do this?

  • By helping with the development of business strategies, business cases and feasibility studies for new projects and initiatives, both in the public and private sector;
  • By conducting independent research and analysis to support strategic advice, decision-making and policy or organisational improvements;
  • By translating business strategies, public sector priorities and policy objectives into business models and operational models;
  • By providing support in the execution of complex transformation processes, change management, reorganizations and performance optimization;
  • By scanning organizations for efficiency, effectiveness, compliance and opportunities for improvement;
  • By developing and implementing operational strategies, quality management systems and business process redesign;
  • By supporting and coaching clients in realizing effective organisational change;
  • By contributing insights on relevant economic, social and institutional developments that may affect clients and their operating environment.

(W)here

You will share your expertise with colleagues in the Dutch Caribbean, based out of Curaçao. Our teams serve local and international clients across different sectors, including government, public institutions and private organizations.

What’s in it for you?

  • You share in the profits, on top of a fixed salary;
  • A competitive salary and terms of employment;
  • Extensive learning and development opportunities in the Dutch Caribbean and the broader Deloitte platform;
  • A pleasant working environment with culturally diverse colleagues;
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid work, tailored to your team and client commitments;
  • A time-for-time arrangement: use the extra time you work at one point for moments that matter to you;
  • A laptop and an iPhone, which you may also use for personal purposes;
  • The option to participate in the collective healthcare insurance and retirement saving scheme.

Be the true you

You are analytical, curious and result-driven. You are able to think critically and creatively when working on complex organisational, strategic and policy-related challenges. You can structure your arguments clearly, express your views convincingly and translate analysis into practical recommendations.

You are professionally driven and ambitious. You take ownership of your work, can conduct research independently and remain involved until solutions are translated into practice.

For the role of Consultant Strategy & Business Design, you also have:

  • A completed university-level degree, preferably a Master’s degree, for example in Business
  • Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Organisational Sciences, Political Science or a related field;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems based on data, research and structured analysis;
  • Some knowledge of, and preferably experience with, working in or for the public sector;
  • Insight into the constitutional relations within the Kingdom of the Netherlands, particularly as relevant to the Dutch Caribbean;
  • Preferably knowledge of economic developments and their impact on organizations, policy and society;
