Bernadette is the Deloitte Australia Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry Leader and Energy & Chemicals Sector Leader.

Professional Experience:

Bernadette has more than 30 years of experience across the energy, LNG, chemicals, and resources value chains. She supports companies to improve business performance, implement growth strategies and become more efficient, sustainable, and inclusive. She works with companies to reduce emissions and tackle the challenges of the energy transition.

Bernadette has a comprehensive understanding of the Australian and global resources industry, its challenges, and future directions as well as the overarching policy and regulatory framework in which the industry operates.

Bernadette speaks frequently at energy and resources industry events and conferences and writes on trends and developments in the Australian and global industry.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Bernadette was Managing Director for Energy in Accenture’s Perth practice and APAC Energy Lead from 2007 to November 2016. She has also held senior global oil and gas operational and consulting roles with Exxon Company International, Esso Singapore, Arthur Andersen and SAIC.
