Duncan is the elected Chair of Deloitte Canada and Chile.

Over his 30+ years with Deloitte, Duncan’s professional activities have included serving clients in the mining, telecommunication, consumer business, manufacturing, real estate and construction industries, and national and regional governments. Prior to his election as Chair, Duncan was a Vice Chair of Deloitte Canada and Chile, focused on serving major institutional investor clients, global private family businesses, and regional governments.

In addition to his client responsibilities, Duncan has been Director of Audit, Managing Partner of Edmonton, and the Regional Managing Partner of British Columbia. Duncan spent four years as a member of Deloitte Canada’s board where he served on governance and risk committees and chaired the CEO succession planning committee.

Duncan also led Deloitte’s Future of Canada Centre, which is responsible for the thought leadership and public policy positions of the firm, including the firm’s ambitious Canada 175 eminence program, a series of perspectives which outline what it will take for Canada to be the best country to live and work. As the inaugural Dean of Deloitte University North, Duncan was responsible for leadership development at Deloitte Canada and Chile.
