Beth McGrath is Deloitte’s global leader for Government and Public Services. In her role, she is committed to strengthening synergies across global Industries and government and public services with a focus on client mission needs and solutions. McGrath has broad, multidisciplinary, strategic, and operational management experience acquired from 25+ years of successful performance in the United States government sector. As a member of Deloitte’s Strategy practice, she advises government and commercial organizations on strategies that help further innovation and improve business operations.

Mark Price is a Principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP US and the Global Government and Public Services Consulting (GPS) Leader. He also serves as Lead Client Service Principal (LCSP) for our work with the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Mark has more than 35 years’ experience leading strategy, operations, and technology transformation programs for a wide range of government, healthcare, and higher education clients. Mark has worked with clients to develop and implement digital strategies and solutions to transform their business and deliver outcomes for constituents. His experience spans tax and revenue, healthcare, human services, transportation, motor vehicles, energy, resources, finance and administration, and large-scale technology transformation. Mark has also led major transformation projects for several healthcare clients around the world and some of the leading higher education institutions in the US. Prior to joining Deloitte, Mark served as Head of Strategy and Business Planning for the University Hospital of Wales, one of the largest academic medical centers in the UK. Previously, Mark served as consultant with a boutique consulting firm in the UK where he conducted international strategy engagements for primarily high-tech clients. Mark contributes significantly to Deloitte research and publications and has been called upon to speak on the topic of transformation in government, healthcare, and higher education across the US and overseas. Mark holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of Wales, UK. Mark lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand before settling in the US. Mark and his wife Kim live near Boston, Massachusetts, and their twin children Adam and Olivia are currently at college. Mark is an avid cyclist and rides the Pan Mass Challenge every year to raise funds for cancer research.

Through his global roles, Michael has worked with Deloitte teams around the world advising public, private and banking sectors on government and infrastructure (including PPP), Real Estate, Project Finance and public sector related transactions. His roles also involve advising on business case development, value capture, new financing, refinancing and restructuring of funding positions in corporate and infrastructure projects. He has advised across a variety of sectors including energy, renewables (wind, biomass, solar and storage), education, healthcare, transport, water, waste & energy, regeneration, smart cities and real estate. Michael is a member of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) PPP Business Advisory Board and an elected Irish council member of the International Project Finance Association.

During his career, he led the creation and development of several consulting business units (throughout his career he led the areas of strategy, innovation, Health, Telecommunications, Transport, Hospitality and Services, Public Sector, among others). He has been involved in projects all over the world, as a project leader, quality control officer or specialist. More recently, the teams led by Miguel have been involved in the NEOM project (in Saudi Arabia), the largest urban development project in the world and often considered to be the most innovative urban ecosystem in the world.

Harald is the Global/DCE/German Automotive Sector Leader. Harald brings more than 20 years of experience advising multinational companies. His work focuses on transformation programs in industrial manufacturing as well as consulting on the increasing digitization and networking of value chains. He has worked for various automotive OEMs and consumer goods industries including sanitary, food, and optical. In addition to Germany, he has also lived and worked in South Korea and Brazil. Before moving on to Deloitte, Harald was a partner for Manufacturing in the European Operations Practice at McKinsey. Since joining our firm in 2015, Harald has led the Operations Practice.

Richard is a leader in Deloitte’s Customer Practice in Canada with deep national and international experience in citizen and business service, retail and channel strategy, customer strategy, pricing and product development, and marketing and growth strategies in various industries. Richard is also the National Alumni Partner Leader for Canada. He has been with Deloitte since 1996 and a frequent speaker in the media and at conferences. Richard also serves on a number of volunteer boards.

She has more than 13 years of professional experience, leading advisory assignments, managing client relationships and coordinating internal initiatives related to ESG, sustainability, international development and infrastructure. She worked in more than 30 countries, implementing framework contracts and projects for multinational organisations, public sector and private entities. For the past years she has been advising clients on climate mitigation and adaptation, sustainable finance and responsible investments in emerging markets. She has a deep understanding of both public and private sector perspectives on sustainability and investments and was engaged in multiple projects related to sustainability, financial and economic analyses, impact assessment, Project Finance and public-private partnerships.

Throughout his professional career, he has participated in and coordinated national and international audit projects, due diligence and company valuations, design and implementation of internal control systems, operations consulting and improvement of results, advisory projects for different industries and also He has extensive experience in different projects for investors, operating internationally, and venture capital companies. Graduated in Economics and Business Sciences from the University of Barcelona, he is a member of the IESE Food and Beverage Advisory Council, the UPF Social and Business Forum and the Board of Directors of Barcelona Global.

Jean Barroca is the Global Public Sector Digital Modernization Leader, working closely with Deloitte Public Sector Leaders across the world to help develop and deploying solutions and assets to support the Public Sector in their Digital Modernization. Jean is also the Senior Manager responsible for CitySynergy working with clients globally supporting Smart City and Future of Mobility initiatives. Prior to joining Deloitte in 2018, Jean worked with the World Bank in the Latin America & Caribbean and Africa regions in Smart Cities, Mobility, and Open Data. He was also part of the World Bank Innovation Labs team.
